The original sketch.
Toothi is ready!
Our son was born through surrogacy in early 2020. On the flight to meet him, I sat near a mum who spent ten hours picking her baby’s teether off the floor while he screamed. I remember thinking, there has to be a better way. I even sketched an idea for a teether that couldn’t be dropped — and then forgot about it.
A few weeks later, our son arrived safely but sick. We spent a week in the NICU, and as the world went into lockdown, we lost our jobs and found ourselves stuck away from home, with no savings (thanks, IVF) and a newborn in a global pandemic.
We moved into my mum’s living room, and when our son started teething at four months, that sketch from the flight came back to me. Every time his teether hit the floor, I thought, this is it.
So I started working on it — every night, sitting in his room in the dark while I nap-trained him, laptop under a blanket so the light wouldn’t wake him. Slowly, Toothi took shape.
Five years later, it’s surreal to see how far it’s come.
Toothi’s now used by thousands of families and loved by occupational therapists for how much it helps neurodivergent children, too. What started as a moment on a flight has turned into something much bigger than I ever expected.
Tiny critics.
Rave reviews.
We LOVE our Toothi! Other teethers often make my baby gag, but Toothi is the perfect shape!
We love these! So easy to clean and clip to anything. They help extend the life of our loveys too
I chill Toothi ahead of time and he’s obsessed - total lifesaver for sore gums
It kept our baby girl happy the entire flight!! It worked so well we ordered more for her!
My daughter is obsessed! We clip it to a blanket during the day and a lovey at night x
Toothi is the only thing my baby boy asks for again and again. I’m thrilled to have found it!!
The little dots actually hold teething gel, works way better than I expected!
My baby boy squeals when I try and take Toothi away, so it comes with us EVERYWHERE!!
Got Questions ?
How do I use Toothi?
Clip Toothi to virtually any textile and your little one is ready to chew, explore, and soothe!
What does Toothi clip to?
Parents clip Toothi to bibs, blankets, loveys, muslins, crinkle paper, washcloths, even clothing. It’s super adaptable and easy to move between fabrics throughout the day.
What does Toothi not clip to?
Toothi works best with fabrics up to 3-ply, or thin plush materials. Very thick blankets, quilted items, or materials with chunky piping can be too bulky for a secure clip—use your judgment here.
What age is Toothi suitable for?
Typically from 3+ months, but many families and OTs use Toothi well into toddlerhood and beyond for sensory and oral-motor support.
Can Toothi be used for sensory needs?
Absolutely. OTs, SEN teachers, and parents use Toothi for oral-motor work, sensory regulation, and redirecting chewing to a safe option.
Can Toothi be chilled?
Yes. You can chill or freeze Toothi before use for extra gum relief.
Do you offer bundles?
Yes! Bundles of 2 or more Toothis offer great value and larger bundles qualify for free shipping too! You can mix colors however you like.
